Its economy and the e-commerce industry are developing rapidly. In 2024 \(according to [Global Payments Report 2024](https://worldpay.globalpaymentsreport.com/)\), the distribution of the electronic payments in China was as follows:

-   Card payments—10 %.
-   Bank payments—2 %.
-   Digital wallet payments—82 %.
-   Other types of payments—6 %.
